HTWF is seeking volunteers to oversee the strategies and tactics used to achieve our vision of “Advancing Healing Touch Worldwide.”
Board members:
- Meet monthly (virtually), where Foundation activities are planned and reviewed and where grants and other expenditures are approved or denied.
- Meets for a three-day planning retreat every October or November (in person when possible).
Day-to-day operation of the Foundation is managed by three committees:
- Marketing Committee (currently including fundraising)
Our Marketing and Fundraising Committee generates innovative ways to inform the greater community about Healing Touch and the opportunities we can provide, while generating and executing fundraising opportunities such as hosting quality seminars on Energy Medicine. - Grant Committee
Our Grants Committee reviews grant applications for a wide variety of funding requests, including research (e.g., to demonstrate the efficacy of Healing Touch), service grants (e.g., bring Healing Touch to underserved communities, such as veterans and hospice residents and workers), and education grants (e.g., for instructors to teach overseas or for foreign practitioners to become instructors). Grant applications undergo review and are then presented to the Board for approval.
- Scholarship Committee
Our Scholarship Program provides 50% of tuition cost, up to a maximum of $300 or $500, depending on the Level, for: Healing Touch Program (HTP) Levels 1-6 and Healing Touch for Animals (HTA) Levels 1-4, for dedicated students facing financial contraints. Scholarship Committee members review applications and grant scholarships on a quarterly basis.

We respect the experiences, knowledge, gifts and diversity of all. We are vigilant stewards of the foundation’s funds through responsible planning and management of our resources.
VISIONARY → We think outside the box to bring awareness of the foundation’s purpose and mission. We are creative and innovative in our approach to increase awareness, raise funds and engagement with the Healing Touch community and beyond.
SPIRITUALLY GUIDED → We use our innate abilities to tap into the spiritual realm to access divine guidance which provides help and support in all areas of the work that we do. We trust this guidance to lead us to the higher good that is beneficial for our Healing Touch Community.
