Pre-proposals will be ranked on the basis of:
Relevance to the stated mission of the HTWF, specifically  to effectively assist, encourage and advance the philosophy, objectives and techniques of Healing Touch therapy. In addition, favorable consideration will be given to proposals that make efficient use of funds through in-kind contributions, partnerships, or new uses of existing data or techniques; include meaningful collaboration with healthcare providers and wellness communities.

Research Proposals: Scientific merit and relevance of the research should provide data impacting the Healing Touch community by providing evidence based practice. The description should be written for a non-specialist, scientifically literate audience.

Service Proposals: Supports service and outreach programs which promote Healing Touch across the globe through humanitarian efforts and events. The description should discuss plans for engaging participants as appropriate for the project; description of how success for outreach activities will be evaluated; and plans for how results will be disseminated and/or translated to a tangible benefit.

International Education: Potential for significant growth, enhancement and education to the international Healing Touch community. The description should specify if travelling to a foreign country to teach a Healing Touch Level 1, 2, 3 or 4 class or if traveling from a foreign country to take instructor training Level 6, instructor level 1, 2 or 3 training.

5. Project Description:
Should includea concise statement of project activities. It should outline relevance to the HTWF mission in terms of the following: objectives, hypotheses, methods, expected outcomes, project partners, the need and its benefits, and a project timeline.

Provide a brief budget outline for requested funds, including In-Kind funds.
