The mission of the Healing Touch Worldwide Foundation is supporting Healing Touch research, service and education through grant opportunities.

Proposals are ranked by relevance to the stated mission of the HTWF. Strong proposals effectively assist, encourage and advance the philosophy, objectives and practice of Healing Touch in the United States, and abroad. Favorable consideration will be given to proposals that make efficient use of funds through in-kind contributions and partnerships. We especially encourage meaningful collaboration with healthcare providers, military facilities, underserved communities, and wellness organizations.

Healing Touch Research Funding Opportunities

Research is needed to further delineate the association of biofield changes resulting from Healing Touch Treatments with measurable physical markers and psychological effects related to disease and disease treatment.

Up to $30,000 is available for full or partial funding of such studies.

Purpose: To determine the efficacy of, or the mechanism of action of, Healing Touch Treatments on disease and/or on symptoms associated with disease treatments.

Protocol Content: See separate RFP application guidelines. The test protocol should address criterion for choosing test subjects and HT providers, response evaluation techniques, how possible confounding factors will be addressed (e.g., use of a control group), endpoints to be evaluated and test documentation.

Funding: May include lab tests, as appropriate, such as A1C, CRP, GLU, cortisol etc., impact evaluations using standard methodologies and statistical data analysis. Up to $50/session practitioner stipend may be provided. Maximum project overhead (i.e., project administration), if budgeted, is limited to 10%. Matching or in-kind funds are encouraged but not required.
